Strength and presence
Confident and athletic, the Audi Q3 luxury SUV delivers a real sense of presence on the road. The octagonal design of the Singleframe grille and large side air inlets add character to a masculine front-end. Full LED headlights with daytime running lights provide sculpted detail, tapering inwards to widen the stance and direct attention along the SUV’s distinctive shoulder line. Muscular wheel arches draw their inspiration from Audi’s quattro DNA and make the Q3 seem even wider, while the steeply raked rear pillars create an appearance of forward thrust, supported by a long roof edge spoiler. Symmetrical lighting graphics in the headlights and rear lights provide a final touch, reiterating the model’s design credentials.
Practical design
A low loading sill of 748 millimetres makes it easier to stow heavy luggage. If the parcel shelf is not needed, it can be stowed under the loading floor. The addition of the LED spotlight in the tailgate illuminates whatever the vehicle is carrying. The electric tailgate provides effortless access to the luggage compartment.
Thoughtful utility
The rear seats can be moved back by up to 150 millimetres for added legroom. Additionally, the three-way split (40:20:40) backrests can be tilted in seven stages for added adaptability. Depending on the position of the rear seats and backrests, the luggage compartment capacity can be increased from 530 to 675 litres – reaching a maximum of 1,525 litres with both backrests folded down.
Intelligently connected:
With the available Audi virtual cockpit – a fully digital configurable instrument cluster – Audi has done away with analogue instruments. All functionality is easy to handle, with the driver operating the Audi virtual cockpit via the multifunction steering wheel.
SONOS 3D Sound System:
The optional SONOS 3D Sound System with virtual 3D sound provides a rich and immersive experience of three-dimensional audio, with four additional loudspeakers in the instrument panel and one in each D pillar.
Lighting technology
Adaptive LED headlights with daytime running lights provide the Audi Q3 sculpted detail, tapering inwards to widen the stance and direct attention along the SUV’s distinctive shoulder line. The rear lights feature dynamic indicators with a distinctive sweeping motion.
Convenience and safety:
The Audi Q3 assistance systems have been designed with the driver in mind*. The highlight is the standard adaptive cruise assist, which incorporates the functions of adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist and active lane assist.
Design
By actively monitoring its surroundings, the Q3 detects critical situations involving pedestrians, cyclists and other vehicles using the radar, providing the driver with a visual, audible and haptic warning when necessary. If required, it initiates emergency braking.
Park Assist
The Park assist system, standard in the Audi Q3, makes maneuvering easier. Park assist steers the compact SUV automatically into and out of parking spaces where the driver has only to accelerate, brake and shift gears.
